Ben and Jack
Another weekend of sports, sports, and more sports. It was the end to Ben's soccer season. They went undefeated again. Likely to move up next year and play the 8 year olds. Ben did very well with 5G and 2A. Then he had flag football on Sunday and they beat the first place team 28-20. Ben played amazingly well. He threw 2 deep touchdowns, ran for 2 more, and converted a 2 point converstion. Pretty impressive little man.. But what's more impressive is his reading. We ask him to read 20 minutes a day to help with his reading abilities and the guy never wants to put down a book. He's even reading in the car! Obviously, this trait comes from his mother.
Jack is starting his soccer practice and ice skating today. Should be exciting to hear how it goes. He had on his little shin gaurds this morning and was ready to go.
Good times

My B-Day
It was my birthday over the weekend and I had a great time. Not because of any amazing dinner I had or some crazy birthday party I was thrown, but because I was hanging with my family. Now Bingo of Friday night was definitely pushing it but the kids had fun and that's what matters.
Ben played an amazing soccer game on Saturday. Jack was really excited to give me my present, which was a very cool CU Lamp. Then Sunday we went to Mom's and had a great dinner.
It was a great weekend. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

The Weekend
Minus the Buff game it was a banner weekend for the Smith Family. Jack is a lot of fun, a handful but still a great little guy. He has a great slap shot and hasn't tried to hit Ben with the stick for a few weeks. He sat with me on the couch for a few minutes and I loved it. I would be in big trouble if I had a little girl. Ben's soccer game was a lot of fun. He's becoming a very strong player. He controlled the ball all game and did pretty much anything he wanted to do. I think he ended up with 5G and 1 A. No football this week, he went to a birthday party instead.
