Memorial Day Weekend

What a great weekend! I got to play with the kids in the pool for a few hours on Friday. Went to the Rockies game in the evening with friends. Hung out with the family on Saturday, watched Katie play in mixed doubles tennis tournament. Got to golf on Monday morning then headed up to Mom's for dinner. Very busy, but worth every minute.

Great Weekend - 4/10/10

Had a great weekend with the kids. Weather was fantastic! Ben played in 2 soccer games over the weekend and a lacrosse game. He's a very special athlete. Has the ability to slow the game down and basically control the ball. I really enjoy watching him play. Scored 3 goals in the first half then had to go to lax game. He had a great lax game as well with 3 assts but didn't score. Had a chance at the end but missed a breakaway and that ruined his day. I wish there was a way I could help him become more positive! He doesn't realize how good he really is.

Jack had 2 soccer games as well. He's 5 and they are playing 6 year olds, which is a big difference at that age. We are working on Jack giving "1003%" ! which is funny. Not as focused as Ben but a very good athlete. he won both games 10-1 & 10-6. i think he scored 5 in each.

Looking forward to some more entertaining games this week and will keep trying to come up with ways to help Ben with his negativity.

Spring Break

Well it's Spring Break and we're headed down to Waco to see my Dad. The kids are very excited to see Papa and Nina. We got about a foot of snow yesterday so we are hoping our flight isn't delayed. The kids are great. Ben is starting Lax season which is always fun and Jack is starting soccer season. Should be interesting for Jack as he'll be playing against 6 year olds. It was Ben's Bday on Feb. 27th and Jack's on March 12th. Both kids are ridiculously spoiled by his parents and grandparents. lots of toys, video games, and parties. Life is good.
